What is a hot cup of tea without a good scone? I've searched everywhere and found Highland Gourmet Scones. Oh my goodness! They arrived individually packaged inside a reusable tin. When the scones hit my taste buds, it was an instant party in my mouth! They were soft, fresh, and the orange cranberry flavor made me do cartwheels. (Okay, maybe in my mind.) I immediately ordered another tin for my upcoming Easter tea. Great job Highland for a scone that tastes even better heated up with smear of butter on top. Yum, yum!

Delicious rich flavor! You can taste the difference due to the authentic recipe. Many recipes depend on a sugar overload and have little flavor, but these go the second mile for flavor. I freeze them and they taste just baked when warmed in the oven.

I have not tried them all but I do like the raisin and cranberry orange. Once you try them you will be hooked, also.

Better and Fresher Than Locally Made Sweet Scones

These are the best sweet cake type scones I have ever had. And they arrive at my home so quickly and are so carefully packed that they cannot be discerned from locally baked or homemade (except they are far better). The orange cranberry scones have generous amounts of both fruits and the citrus-cranberry tartness is nicely balanced by the sweet batter and light sugar glaze.

The Orange Cranberry scones are my husband's favorite (which works out well around here as I prefer the golden raisin). He has stressed the notion that if I am ordering scones, the orange cranberry flavor must be among them. He likes the citrus brightness (though that's not how he characterizes it -- he just calls it "that orange zing") and the tartness of the cranberry, which keeps it from being just a little too sweet for him. Always delicious!
